Enjoy the CP holiday train concert at home on December 12

This year, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the CP Holiday Train Celebration is moving on line. On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 7 PM CST Serena Ryder and The Trews will headline CP's 2020 Holiday Train at Home concert, which will stream via Facebook Livestream on CP's Facebook page. The concert will also feature performances by JoJo Mason, Logan Staats, and Kelly Prescott.

The event will raise money and awareness and help local food banks collect much-needed donations.
Holiday Train fans will be able to view the concert by visiting facebook.com/canadian.pacific at the show's start time. An archived version of the show will remain on the page for later viewing.

The CP Holiday Train is coming to town!

All aboard for the CP Holiday train! It will be stopping in Winnipeg at the railway crossing at Panet Road and Molson Street on Monday, December 3 at 9:00PM. The stage will open on both sides. The 45 minute show will feature Terri Clark, Kelly Prescott and Sierra Noble.

The train will also be in Whitemouth at 6:45PM on December 3. It will also stop at Portage la Prairie on December 4 at 3:15 PM,  Carberry at 5:30PM, and Brandon at 6:45PM. On December 5, it will visit Virden at 10:15AM.

The CP Holiday Train program launched in 1999 and has since raised more than C$14.5 million and gathered 4.3 million pounds of food for communities along CP's routes in Canada and the United States. Every pound and dollar raised at each stop stays with the local food bank to help feed those in need in that community.

The train will arrive at the scheduled event time and depart immediately after the show. Please give yourself extra time getting to the event to compensate for crowds and traffic. Make sure to keep a safe distance of 50 feet away from the train while it’s moving so we can safely continue our journey.

All events are free. CP requests event attendees to bring money or a heart-healthy donation for their local food bank. CP is also encouraging fans of the train to donate heart-healthy food, as everyone should have access to healthy, nutritious food, regardless of circumstances. This supports the mission of CP Has Heart, a program dedicated to improving the heart health of men, women and children in North America. To date, this program has raised over C$15 million for cardiac care and research.

The CP Canada 150 train arrives in Winnipeg this Friday

Mark your calendars! The CP 150 train will be in Winnipeg this Friday, August 4. The train will make a stop at the Southdale Community Centre at 254 Lakewood Boulevard from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. 

CP’s 1401 F-unit, built in 1958, will lead the train, hauling more than 10 restored heritage cars. Children will have the opportunity to take part in decorating a special car named the Spirit of Tomorrow. They can write their hopes for the Canada of tomorrow on a commemorative card. Each card will be attached to the car. The final Spirit of Tomorrow car will be included in CP’s 2017 Holiday Train program.

Included in the train is CP's exclusive stage car where champion Aboriginal hoop dancer Dallas Arcand, Juno award-winning country music singer Dean Brody, country singer Kelly Prescott and the Rail Road Ramblers will be performing.

While you’re there, don’t miss your chance to ride on CP’s miniature train! It’s a 1/4 scale model of one of CP’s AC4400 locomotives.

The CP holiday train is coming to town!

It's that time of the year again! The CP holiday train will be rolling into Winnipeg on Friday, December 4, arriving at Molson Street between Panet Road and Munroe Avenue at 9:00 PM. Showtime is from 9:15 to 9:45, and the featured performers this year are Devin Cuddy and Kelly Prescott.

Kelly Prescott is no stranger to Holiday Train. She has taken part in numerous U.S. tours and was featured on many of the past Holiday Train CD's, including the gold record release in 2005. In 2013 she shared the stage with Sheryl Crow and Take Six on the Holiday Train 15th anniversary show in Minnesota.​​​ Devin Cuddy is the son of one of Canada's most beloved singer/songwriters, Blue Rodeo's Jim Cuddy, country rock has been the soundtrack to Devin's entire life.
 
The train will also make stops at Portage la Prairie on December 5 opposite the Centennial Arena on 390-1st St. NW at 1:15 PM. It then arrives at Minnedosa at 5:00 PM west of the station on the north side of the yard, 30 2nd Ave, NW. It makes its last stop in Manitoba at Shoal Lake by the gravel lot adjacent to grain elevator on North Railway Avenue at 8:15 PM.
