WinThose enterprising lads at WinNtrak are at it again! This time they're displaying at Garden City Shopping Centre. This will be the third time in three months that they'll be displaying their magnificent N gauge modular layout. Where will they be going in April? You can see them on Friday, March 13 from 10AM to 9PM, on Saturday, March 14 from 10AM to 6PM and on Sunday, March 15 from 11AM to 6PM. Garden City is located at the corner of McPhillips Street and Leila Avenue.

The gang at WinNtrak are at it again! Come and see their huge N gauge modular display over at Grant Park Shopping Centre this February long weekend. They'll be there on Saturday, February 14 (Valentine's Day!) from 10AM to 6PM, on Sunday, February 15 from noon to five, and on Monday, February 16 (Louis Riel Day) from noon to five. Grant Park Shopping Centre is located at 1120 Grant Avenue in Winnipeg.

Those friendly folks over at WinNtrak are going to have their biggest display ever at Kildonan Place this weekend! View their spectacular N Gauge modular layout on Friday, January 9 from 10AM to 8PM, on Saturday, January 10 from 10AM to 6PM and on Sunday, January 11 from 11AM to 6PM.
 

WinNtrak displays at Chirstkindlmarkt this weekend

Those friendly folks at WinNtrak are at it again! This weekend they’ll be displaying at Chirstkindlmarkt, the oldest running German Christmas market organized by the Canadian German Congress, taking place at Fort Garry Place, 30 Fort Street. 

WinNtrak will be displaying on Friday, November 28  from noon to 8PM, on Saturday, November 29 from 10AM to 7PM and on Sunday, November 30 from 10AM to 4PM. Enjoy German imports, crafts, baking, live entertainment and trains! There’s no entry fee, but Christkindlmarkt requests a small donation of two dollars per visitor to help cover the event’s expenses.

WinNtrak will be at Garden City Shopping Centre from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19.

This weekend is going to be a great one for model railroaders! WinNtrak will be operating their modular layout at the Garden City Shopping Centre from Friday, October 17th through Sunday, October 19th. You can catch their spectacular N Gauge layout on Friday from 10 AM to 9 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and on Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM. 

And on Sunday, October 19, Jason Shron, CEO of Rapido Trains, will be making a special appearance for a public meet and greet at Frog and Diamond Hobbyworks! He’ll be there from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM to chat with customers. He’ll also be bringing along a few of his latest products. Frog and Diamond Hobbyworks is located at 301 Bowman Avenue in Winnipeg.

Jason Shron will be at Frog and Diamond Hobbyworks on October 18 from 12:30 TO 2:00 PM.

 

The Manitoba Train and Hobby Expo is just a week away

 The Manitoba Train and Hobby Expo is just a week away! Many of your old model railroad favourites will be exhibiting this year, including WinNtrak, The NMRA No.1 Northern Division Free-Mo Group, Manitoba T-Trak and the Giraffe Car Man. There will be 15 layouts, 11 hobby displays and 60 vendors selling all sorts of model railroad equipment in every gauge.

The show also includes a wide variety of hobby groups such as the Manitoba Doll Club and the Manitoba Lego Users Group. There will be interactive slot car racing and a hot wheels display. Get a chance to fly a simulator model plane! Join the Lego building competition for a chance to win a prize, and put your name in for the Thomas the Tank Engine HO train set door prize!

It all takes place at Red River Exhibition Place, 3977 Portage Avenue, on Saturday, September 27 between nine and five and on Sunday, September 28 between nine and four. Admission is 12 bucks, youths 4-12 get in for six bucks, and kids under three get in for free. This is a once in a year event! You've got to be there!!

WinNtrak returns to the Manitoba Train and Hobby Expo

Those friendly folks over at WinNtrak, operators of Manitoba's largest N gauge modular railway, will be returning to the Manitoba Train and Hobby Expo. The group has long been a staple of the show, exhibiting since the start of the Manitoba Mega Train Show. The group exhibits regularly at the Garden City Shopping Centre, Kildonan Place, Grant Park Shopping Centre, the Clearspring Centre in Steinbach and the German Christmas Market at Fort Garry Place.

Come see them, and the 12 other layouts, the 60 vendors and the 11 hobby displays at the Manitoba Train and Hobby Expo on September 27 between 9 and 5, and on September 28 between 9 and 4 at Red River Exhibition Place, 3977 Portage Avenue. General admission is $12. Youths ages four to 12 get in for six bucks. Kids three years old and under get in for free!

The 2024 Manitoba Mega Train Show is just seven weeks away

The Manitoba Mega Train Show, the biggest train show between Toronto and Calgary, is only seven weeks away! Every year the show attracts more and more guests, and we're looking forward to having a record breaking attendance this year! 

The Mega Train will be up and running, along with several great modular layouts such as WinNTrak and the NMRA No. 1 Northern Division Free-Mo Group. There will also be displays from Manitoba Lego Users Group, a Geotrax and a Meccano display, remote control boats and military miniatures.

There will also be many vendors with a huge variety of model railroad equipment in all scales to sell. There were so many deals made last year that the ATM's at the Red River Exhibition Place ran out of money and had to be refilled!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29! The doors open at Red River Exhibition Place, 3977 Portage Avenue at 9AM and close at 5PM on Saturday. On Sunday they're open from 9AM to 4PM. General admission is $12. Youths ages 4 to 12 get in for six bucks. Kids under three get in for free!

WinNtrak to display their N scale modular railway at Grant Park Shopping Centre from March 24 to March 26

Got the March blues? Does it seem like the Manitoba winter will never end? Then head to Grant Park Shopping Centre this coming weekend, for WinNtrak will be running trains on their spectacular N gauge modular railway!

They'll be operating their layout for three big days, starting on Friday, March 24 and ending on Sunday, March 26. WinNtrak's head honcho Felix Lesiuk tells us that there you will even be able to enjoy an overhead view of the rail action, as they're setting up where the upper level of the shopping centre meets the lower level.

WinNtrak will be running trains at Grant Park Shopping Centre from 10AM to 8PM on Friday, March 24, from 10AM to 6PM on Saturday, March 25, and from 12PM to 5PM on Sunday, March 26. Grant Park Shopping Centre is located at 1120 Grant Avenue in Winnipeg.

WinNtrak to hold its first public display in two years at Kildonan Place

Great news! The gang at WinNtrak will he holding their first public display of their fabulous N gauge modular layout in over two years. They will be displaying at Kildonan Place Shopping Mall on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19. Kildonan Place is open from 10AM to 8PM on Friday and from 10AM to 6PM on Saturdays.

Our roving correspondent Felix "scoop" Lesiuk took these great close up images of WinNtrak's layout which is housed beside the Prairie Dog Central's freight house. The detail is absolutely extraordinary!

Keep in mind that these images are from an N scale layout, which is about half the size of HO. You couldn't see this layout with the naked eye as close as you could with these images.

Felix, who is a long time WMRC member, is the past president of WinNtrak. He is currently their facility manager and also is in charge of their newsletter.

WinNtrak to exhibit at Riverwood Square retirement community on June 15

Our good friends at WinNtrak will be exhibiting their N gauge modular layout at Riverwood Square's Father's Day model train show this Saturday, June 15. Hours are from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. WinNtrak displays at Grant Park Shopping Centre this weekend

Those magnificent men with their N Gauge machines are back! WinNtrak will be displaying their marvelous N Gauge modular layout at Grant Park Shopping Centre this weekend!

You can catch them on Saturday, February 16 from 10:00AM to 6:00PM. On Sunday, February 17, they'll be displaying from 12:00PM to 5:00PM, and on Monday, February 18,  they'll be running from 12:00AM to 5:00PM. If you've got any shopping to do, then why not do it at Grant Park this weekend and catch the trains as well?

They'll be up an running their magnificent N gauge modular layout at the KP centre court from 9:30AM to 6:00PM on Saturday, January 12, and from 11:00AM to 6:00PM on Sunday, January 13. WinNtrak to display at Clearspring Centre in Steinbach this weekend

It's worth the trip to Steinbach this weekend, especially if you're a model railroader! WinNtrak will be displaying their wonderful N gauge modular layout on April 7 and 8 at Steinbach's Clearspring Centre, the largest shopping centre in the area. The mall is open from 9:30AM to 9:00PM on April 7, and from 9:30Am to 6:00PM on April 8. While you're there, you can also check out the Steinbach Toy and Tractor show that's also going on in the mall. Happy railroading, everyone!
