Two weeks to go before the Manitoba Hobby Expo! The WMRC will be there with several tables, selling model railroad equipment in all scales donated to the club.
Please keep in mind that the proceeds of the sales go to St.Amant, so the dollars you spend at our tables will go to support the important work St.Amant provides for our community. If your wife complains at how many trains you bought, just tell her that the money you spent is going to St.Amant and you're making the world a better place because you bought more trains!
We'll also be displaying our new Thomas the Tank Engine portable layout, which was the hit of our spring open house. You can also become a member or renew your membership at the show. We'll have plenty of membership forms available!
The Manitoba Hobby Expo is taking place at Red River Exhibition Park, 3977 Portage Avenue. That's right behind Assiniboia Downs. They're open on Saturday, October 3 and on Sunday, October 4 from 9AM to 5PM. Admission is $12.00. Youths get in for $6.00 and kids three years old and under get in for free.
