Maurice and Susan Dorge, the folks who brought you the Manitoba Mega Train Show, have come up with a special holiday treat. They're setting up their Mega-Train in the old Safeway store at 3059 Ness Avenue (at the corner of Sturgeon and Ness) for the month of December. Their store, Vector Garden Trains, will be moving there too. They open on Dec 5. Come and do something special with your family for the holiday season! Take a ride on the Mega-Train in a Winter Wonderland! There will be lots of trees and lights to see, and it's warm!
The hours are weekdays from 4pm to 9pm, Saturdays from 9am to 9pm, and Sundays from 10am to 6pm. The train will be operating on Christmas eve until 6pm. It will be closed on Christmas day, but it will re-open on Boxing Day at noon. Ticket price is $5.00 with a dollar going to charity, or $4.00 with a tin for the bin.
