The friendly folks at the Portage la Prairie Model Railroad Club are holding their annual summer house on Saturday, June 11 There will be several operating layouts, model railroad equipment for sale, snacks and prizes! Admission is only five bucks, kids under 12 get in for free. Hours are from 10AM to 3 PM at the CP station in
Portage la Prairie, 231 3rd. street NE. Be sure to do some rail fanning while you're there! It's one of the few places in Canada where the CP and CN mainlines are only a few meters away from each other. What a great place to spend a lovely Saturday in Manitoba!
