At a recent monthly digital photo display at a WMRC Zoom meeting, program director Dave Downie shared some unique photos that he took on a rail fanning trip in Beacon, New York in 1980. He caught some great images of motive power from fallen flags such as the
Delaware and Hudson,
Boston and Maine and
Lehigh Valley. Dave took these images using a 35MM camera, back in the days when you had just 36 images per roll and you couldn't see what you shot until the prints (or the slides) came back from the lab!
