There will be a Manitoba Mega Train Show this year

The Manitoba Mega Train Show is going ahead this year. Capacity at Red River Exhibition Place is limited 50%, but the organizers of the show don’t anticipate any problems with that, as the show doesn’t normally have 500 people present at one time.

Social distancing is a provincial government requirement, which means that there will be larger aisles and a controlled crowd flow. As a result, the number of vendors have been cut in half. Some of the layouts will not be in their usual spots. The organizers are proposing that vendors will be placed along the outside walls and the layouts and displays will be in open areas. There will be no vendors or displays from outside of Manitoba. There just isn’t enough room this year.

All vendors, exhibitors and attendees over the age of 12 must be double vaccinated to attend. The organizers will be asking all exhibitors and vendors for proof before the show,  as they had to limit the number of layouts and vendors due to these health regulations. Everyone must wear a mask at the show, except for children three years of age and under due to possible suffocation.

As of August 25, the province has mandated that masks will be required at all indoor public places. Masks will still be required at the Manitoba Mega Train Show whether or not the province decides to lift these regulations.

The Manitoba Mega Train Show will be held on Sept 25 & 26th this year at the Red River Exhibition Place. the hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days.
